This document describes a compostable hot cup that is lined with PLA and made from plant-based renewable resources. It is certified as compostable in a commercial composting facility according to ASTM D6868 standards, where it is designed to quickly biodegrade. However, appropriate commercial composting facilities may not exist in some communities, so users should check with their local municipality.

1. ZEEHENG PAK
For some food packaging applications, a compostable product is the most
environmentally responsible option. Our PLA-lined hot cup is fully com-
postable in a commercial compost facility, where it is designed to quickly
disintegrate and fully biodegrade.
• Made from 100% plant-based renewable resources and made with either
FDA certified paperboard
• Compostable in a commercial compost facility. Appropriate commercial
composting facilities may not exist in your community. Please check with
your local municipality. Not suitable for backyard composting
• Meets the ASTM D6868 standard and certified
by the Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI) as compostable in a com-
mercial composting facility.
