The following is the short-listing criteria for calling candidates for the interviews to be held on May 12th and
May 13th, 2010.
i) Call for interview (Full time with GATE):
ii) Call for interview for Industry sponsored

EE 830 Minimum degree B. He/She should have a minimum of 1 year

The candidates will be interviewed by the VDTT faculty on May 12th, 2010, followed by an interview of the
shortlisted candidates with the sponsoring industries on May 13th, 2010.
Instructions regarding selections for M.Tech. VDTT Programme
• Reporting time for the Interviews on May 12th (Wednesday) is 8.00 am. Please report at the VDTT
Office, Block-IV, and Room No. IV-202, 1st Floor. The shortlisted candidates for meeting with industry
representatives would be announced by the evening of the same day.
• Candidates shortlisted after interviews will be requested to give their preferences about the sponsors
& will meet the representatives of the sponsors on 13th May (Thursday) starting at 8.30 am.
• Please bring originals of all your academic certificates and marks sheets for verification.
• The formal offers of admissions to the candidates selected on 13th May will be given by about 25th
May and the selected candidates will be required to pay Rs.11,785/- (Rs. 10,935/- for Part-time
students) as the first installment of the Institute dues by 16th June 2010. Please keep a margin of Rs.
1000/- to meet any contingency requirement.
• All offers of admissions are subject to the condition that the candidate (i) takes the final examination
of the qualifying degree before 22nd July 2010, (ii) produces a marks sheet showing the required % of
marks/CGPA by 22nd July / 31st Oct. 2010 and (iii) produces the relieving certificate from the
employer by 22.7.2010 (where applicable).
• Accommodation for candidates coming for the interview will be provided on request in Karakoram
Hostel (boys), Kailash (girls) on payment of Rs.140 per day per head for boarding and lodging.
Candidates are requested to bring their own bedding, a lock and a bulb.
• On allotment of hostel, the candidates will be required to pay Rs. 15,000/- (Boys) and Rs. 14,500/-
(Girls) towards returnable mess security deposit, mess admission fee, mess advance and
Membership of student cooperative Society.
