A Jisc Perspective Of Impact And EvidenceIan Cooper
This document discusses the challenges of measuring the impact and value of investments in digital resources and services. It notes that while performance was originally the main focus, the emphasis is now shifting toward tracking usage and value, though not all impacts can be measured in the same way. Consistent measurement of things like audience size, market penetration, and value for money is important but difficult.

This document proposes recycling plastic bottles at Norwood's Shea Stadium to reduce waste sent to landfills and teach good habits. It would cost no more than other school recycling programs and be implemented before the next football season. Research included interviews with the Norwood Athletic Boosters Treasurer and a School Board Member, as well as information on plastic recycling programs and costs from relevant websites. The recycling program would benefit the Norwood Athletic Boosters, School Board, and stadium patrons through reduced waste and reuse of resources.

Haiti Development Constraints And Principalstxmerritt
The Earthbag Building Process document outlines principles and techniques for using earthbag construction to build housing in Haiti in the face of significant constraints. It summarizes the four main constraints as land, resources, labor availability and skill level, and earth moving. It then discusses principles for managing constraints, such as focusing on producing viable villages rather than just houses, pre-positioning stocks to avoid work stoppages, and incentivizing local labor. Specific techniques covered include using housing kits, careful site layout, providing transportation for laborers, and measuring progress based on earth flow rather than number of houses. The document argues this approach could enable building the hundreds of thousands of housing units needed in Haiti.
Youth programme presentation - May 5, 2016Abel Caine
The document outlines the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization's (UNESCO) Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development's (MGIEP) goals and programs for youth engagement. MGIEP aims to empower and enable young people to drive change towards a more just, peaceful and sustainable world through initiatives like the Changemakers program, Campus Ambassadors program, YESPeace Network, and youth-led monitoring of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. These programs focus on developing youth's global competencies, facilitating intercultural dialogue, and positioning youth as leaders and change agents in working towards the UN's education-related SDG of ensuring all learners acquire knowledge and skills
