Both the high-end look and the budget would work perfectly for an
interview. For example, the main piece is a dress for both looks. The dress has a
conservative neckline and quarter length sleeves. I choose theses two dresses
because they would be great for very many interview settings as they are neutral
colors and conservative. Also, I personally prefer to wear dresses and I feel more
dressed up than if I were to wear pants and a blouse. I choose to add a pop of color
to the look with a bold statement necklace. This adds a perfect pop of color bringing
the dress to life. The pearl studs in both looks would be for the bottom holes. These
add a touch of uniqueness without overpowering the statement necklace. The
diamond studs are for any other piercings that an interviewee may have. For
instance, I have 10 piercings in each ear; I would choose to keep them in, as it is an
expression of who I am but in a conservative way that can easily be hidden. Also,
both looks are paired with nude pumps that go wonderfully with the outfit.
Furthermore, the makeup I envision would be leaning more toward the natural side
witch is why I chose light blush and nude eye shadows. This is great makeup for an
interview, as you do now want your makeup to be the main focus, you want the
interviewer to remember you as a person and what you can bring to the company,
not what you wore on your face. The price difference between these two looks is
astonishing. If the budget look were chosen, there would be a total savings of
$1,309.22. All in all, I think these are great looks they air on the side of conservative
but have fun pop of color to spice things up.
