General aviation pilots and endangered sea turtles came together to help each other survive. A 2014 event in Cape Cod involved the largest sea turtle rescue operation to save Kemp's ridley sea turtles, the most endangered sea turtle species. NOAA gifted 7 rescued sea turtles to an educational program pairing the turtles and pilots to tell their stories of survival and a shared love of aviation. Continued donations are needed to further rescue and education efforts to help both species.

species fighting for survival. In order to continue making a difference with our rescue and education
