The bedroomiscosy and a double size;there isalovelyview outof the window throughthe curtains
whichare openallowingthe morninglightintothe room. We will see thisview togeta sense of the
surroundings.Thenwe see IKEand ELISE inbed,ELISE asleep,IKEwide awake,theyare facingeach
other,IKE staringat her.
IKE and ELISE are inbedlyingdown.ELISEis asleepandIKEisawake and becomingrestless.He isnot
movingmuchbut he’ll begintolookaroundandmovesintoELISEwho remainsunresponsively
asleep.

“Ike,(tiredmoan) notnow”
He staresat for hera momentthenturnsoverandshakeswithfrustration
KITCHEN
The kitchenisa country kitchen,withawarmfeel toit. We will see afull shotof the kitchenbefore
goingstraightto close shots,sothat the audience canget a feel forthe home theylive in.
Elise stirringfoodinpan,Ike approachesfrom behind her. ELISE takes a spoonful of sauce and
sniffs it then reaches it out towards IKE.
Elise:
“Doesn’tthissmell good?”
Ike:
(Sniffingherhair):“yes,itsmellsso…enticing.”
IKE thenwalksthroughtothe livingroomandtakesa photoof himand ELISE off the mantelpiece.
OUTSIDE ATTIC:
The attic is full withjunk,oldboxesfull of papers,oldfurniture etc.Itlooks oldand rustic.
Ike sittingdowninhisshedslowlytakesthe lidof hisblackbox,(lookslike ashoe box.) He thentakes
out twopictures.The picturesare of two pervious partnersthathe haskilled.Attachedto
bothpicturesisa lockof hair matchingthe hair inthe photos. He laysthe two picturesdown
on the table of hispreviouspartnersandthere isa momentwhere he looksatthem. IKE
picksup a pair of scissorsand startscuttingout a picture of himand ELISE.
Elise:
“When she walks in she is confused to what Ike is doing, pauses for thought.
“Ike…what are you doing?” Laughing with nerves.”
Ike:
“Oh Elise, so pretty, so naïve. You thought it was all so perfect didn’t you? Well there was
always something missing, surely you realised? Something I never told you.”
ELISE:
“What… what are you…what’s going on?” (Slightly tripping over the clutter on the floor)
IKE:
(Chuckles), “Elise you don’t need to be scared” (sniggers again), let me explain things to you,
these woman in the pictures, they are previous partners of mine, they are… no
longer with us.”
ELISE:
Partners! (Trying to keep calm) what um, what happened to them? (Backing away slowly)
IKE:
They are in better place
ELISE:
What?
IKE:
“You don’t need to worry about them!”
He then takes ELIES’S hand and takes her to show her the pictures.
“This was Chloe, and this was Rebecca.”
ELISE:
Is that their hair? (Panicked)
IKE:
(Laughs)
She does not notice the picture of her and him at first. He pulls her tightly into his chest, so
she cannot move, her face looks down to the table and she sees the picture of him
and her.
She looks completely petrified. IKE takes the scissors fromthe table, he smiles, and he cuts a
lock of her hair off.
