Schock invented granite sinks and has been the world’s leading

more than 70 countries value the quality and design of the sinks
manufactured exclusively at the company’s headquarters in the
Bavarian Forest (Germany). More than a million sinks are manu-
factured with the Schock method across the globe each year.
The possibilities offered by the latest developments in the
materials sphere enabled Schock to achieve a quantum leap
over conventional sinks in terms of quality, ease of care and
protection against bacteria with the development of the
Cristadur premium material in 2005.

CRISTADUR® – HYGIENE WITH AN EXQUISITE SHEEN
CRISTADUR® is Schock’s premium material, alongside CRISTA- CRISTADUR® benefits at a glance
STONE®. The material is specially developed for the demands of Granite
the kitchen. The rigours of everyday use vanish from CRISTADUR® -Dirt repellent effect (the dirt simply runs off)
sinks without a trace – red wine, coffee and heavy pans leave -Naturally antibacterial (exclusive to Schock)
no marks whatsoever. The material is particularly easy to clean, -Extremely easy to clean
safe for use with food and finished with Schock Antibac. This -Food-safe
naturally antibacterial hygiene protection system developed by -Light-fast
Schock inhibits around 95% of bacterial growth, which makes -Stain-resistant
doing kitchen chores a more hygienic and carefree experience. -Shock-proof thanks to the very high quartz content

The poreless structure of CRISTADUR® makes the material par-
ticularly fine, allowing for unprecedented ease of care and featuring Made in Germany
a dirt repellent effect. Dirt that could be a breeding ground for
bacteria finds it impossible to stick to the material’s surface. The
dirt runs off. It can easily be removed with a damp cloth and a
little washing-up liquid.
An added benefit of CRISTADUR® is its silky-smooth finish, giving
the material a delicate shimmer and a soft feel with maximum re-
sistance to dirt and scratches.
Around 85% of the material used in Schock’s CRISTADUR® sinks
is quartz, the hardest constituent of granite, which is why they are
also known as granite sinks.
The quartz is coupled with a high-grade acrylic binder. It is
this combination of acrylic and quartz that gives the sinks their
durability.
The granite sinks developed and patented by Schock have
achieved a highly acclaimed reputation as premium products
over the past twenty years, with more than a million of the
sinks sold across the globe each year.

4. SCHOCK HYGIENE CONCEPT
Making life more hygienic and carefree.
Antibac
Sinks used to prepare food or wash dishes and pans provide
a breeding ground for bacteria. Schock Antibac is the first
and so far the only antibacterial hygiene protection system for
the kitchen sink. The integrated, natural protection mecha-
nism reduces bacterial growth by 95%.
Dirt repellent effect
The premium CRISTADUR® material additionally repels dirt.
An ultrafine, poreless structure makes it virtually impossible
for bacteria and dirt to stick to the material‘s surface. It simply
runs off and can easily be removed with a damp cloth and a
little washing-up liquid.
