I found this PPT presentation about Thanksgiving and adapted it to my classes.
I want to thank the person who did the initial ppt. I found the explanation very simple and accurate.

The body of a miss-
ing St. Augustine priest
was discovered south
of Augusta, Georgia, St.
Johns County Sher-
iff David Shoar said
during a late-night
news conference
Monday.
Shoar said
Steven James
Murray, the man
named as a suspect
in the priest’s disappear-
ance, had “reached out” to
detectives early Monday
morning, saying he had
come to a point where he
wanted to offer informa-
tion on the location of
Father Rene Robert.
Robert, 71, was report-
ed missing last
Tuesday when
church officials
became concerned
that he uncharac-
teristically missed
an appointment
and his Facebook
page had fallen
unusually silent.
Following the tip from
Murray, Shoar said his
office sent five investiga-
tors to a “very rural area”
south of Augusta where
Robert’s remains were
quickly found.
“We’re convinced that
the homicide ... occurred
in the state of Georgia,”
Shoar said, while flanked
by Robert’s family mem-
bers and local clergy
during Monday’s news
conference.
“The motive we’re a
little sketchy on,” Shoar

Genung’s Fish Camp has been doing business (on and off at times) at the end of Cubbedge Road in Crescent Beach since 1948.

The Record correspondent
Whether you were a fish-
erman looking for advice,
a politician looking for an
endorsement, a surfer looking
for a drinking buddy or a sand-
hill crane looking for a morn-
ing snack, Jack Genung was
your guy.
From 1948 to the early
2000s, Genung’s Fish Camp
sold bait and tackle but offered
so much more to anyone will-
ing to give some time to the
locally adored institution at
the end of Cubbedge Road in
Crescent Beach, just south of
the State Road 206 bridge.
Now, after a few on and
off years, Genung’s is back in
business under the observant
eye of Walter Coker, a former
photographer and owner of
Coastal Traders, a St. Augus-
tine store selling imported
Indonesian art and furniture.
Matanzas Riverkeeper Neil
Armingeon has an office at
the waterside camp, too, and
the two friends make the per-
fect pair to revitalize what has
been a cornerstone of fishing
the Matanzas for nearly seven
decades.
“All hell’s breaking loose at
the beach and out on the roads.

On Monday afternoon, Fla-
gler President William Abare Jr.
announced plans to retire .
Abare said the decision was diffi-
cult and accompanied by months of
deliberation.
“I’m not really ready to retire. ...
I’m sure there will be some ques-
tions because of that,” he said at the
college.
But after 45 years with Flagler —
15 spent as president — Abare said
