Sweet Mount O’ MineSANUS takes you to that special place

Sanus says that every product in its range is designed with
installers in mind, whether it is the large selection of TV
mounts, including models for curved and extra-large TVs,
its accessories mounting system or the flat-packed skeleton
racking system.
Involving experienced installers in the design process for
its mounts helps inform development and in particular the
ability to support ever larger screens. Sanus has developed
a range specifically designed to mount XL screens with
products like the XF228, a full-motion mount capable of
safely mounting TVs up to 228cm (90in) in size and weighing
79 kg, while at the same time providing an extension of over
70cm, 150°∘ swivel and 20°∘ tilt.
Included in all the maker’s three styles of TV mount, full
motion, tilting and fixed, there is a product for extra large
screen sizes, such as the LT25 tilting and LL22 fixed mounts.
To cater for curved screen fans, Sanus has developed the
VLC1 which extends the viewing angle to bring more people
into the action. Utilising a development of the company’s
Virtual Axis technology, the user can swivel the mount up to
22° in the horizontal to take advantage of curved TV geometry
and increase the viewing sweet spot over a wider area, while
still keeping the TV mounted very close to the wall.
The VLC1 also offers ProSet Plus for post installation
height and level adjustment, quick-release tabs for simplified
removal from the wall, lateral shift and cable management, all
at a competitive price point.
To cope with mounting smaller media boxes, such as
Apple TV or Roku and Sonos, behind a TV, Sanus has come
up with a simple but effective solution to the problem that
is compatible with any mount. The Small Parts Panel is a
perforated metal plate that affixes to the TV mount or directly
to a VESA hole on the rear of the TV. The accessory product
is then fixed in place to the Small Parts Panel with tie-down
fasteners and an anti-slide material ensures the accessory
doesn’t slip from its position.
Moving onto the racks range, Sanus offers its Stackable
Skeleton Racks designed to deliver installers with maximum
height flexibility, from 15U to 40U and minimum stock holding
requirements. The CFR1615 (15U) and CFR1620 (20U) are
modular and stackable and can be combined to make all
height combinations and requirements.
The racks feature heavy-gauge welded steel that the
manufacturer says are very easy to assemble. Each rack
can withstand a load weight of 272kg and the self-aligning
structure requires only four bolts for quick stacking. Delivered
in a standard size shipping carton, Sanus says they can be
assembled in just 15 minutes.
As the trend for combining support with attractive furniture
grows in popularity, Sanus has the 155cm (61in) wide and
58cm (23in) deep Cadenza 61 which can accommodate
large televisions on its glass top surface and all the
associated AV equipment within the storage compartments
below. Matching wood or perforated steel panels for each
of the two doors can be interchanged to customise the
appearance and provide ventilation. The pre-assembled
Cadenza 61 is fitted with soft close hinges as standard and
comes in natural walnut or charcoal wood finishes. The
adjustable shelves and built in cable management rails are in

UK distributor, Alltrade also offers a Sonos based solution
with Penn Elcom’s range of rack-mount shelves, drawers
and face plates. Alongside a range of rack shelving solutions,
2U and 3U shelf modules can now incorporate mounting
and faceplates specifically designed for Sonos Connect
streaming units and Connect:Amp amplified streamers. Up
to three Connect units wide can be fitted in a standard width
rack mount and alternative faceplates are available for Sky,
AppleTV and games consoles.
Penn Elcom rack systems can be further enhanced by
Alltrade’s custom branded name panels. The fully laser-
etched panels can incorporate a company name and logo
from as little as £11.35 per panel.
Recently seen at Essential Install Live! South, iRoom was
showing its latest development to support and enhance the
functionality of the iPad. The company already had products
with hard buttons to offer control of a series of basic
functions without having to wake the iPad, but now has gone
further, introducing its own control system and App behind
those hard buttons. The culmination of all of this development
is ably demonstrated in the new table top iTop which has
a handy sliding connector to accommodate an iPad Pro,
iPad Air or iPad mini and has with six assignable quick keys
control buttons on the glass bezel. Control can also be
achieved with hand gestures. iTop includes a PoE+ Injector
for convenience and value and a single cat cable powers iTop
and gives it control at the same time. In order to customise
the Quick Keys, iRoom includes 130 pre-printed icons for all
common control functions.
Also looking to offer support to the iPad is the Viveroo
family of products now available from UK distributor
Unicam. Viveroo docks are designed to update as often
as the iPad, with the ability to change the connector on the
dock. Integrated practically flush to the wall, furniture or any
other flat surfaces, iPads can be locked within the dock, or
removed for normal use at the push of a button thanks to
the soft open function. The LoopDock and SquareDock are
currently available in three designs (glass cover in black or
white or solid aluminium).
Another UK distributor offering an iPad support product
with hard buttons as well, Habitech was recently busy
introducing installers to the new LaunchPort concept at
Essential Install Live! South. By using Lutron’s Clear Connect
wireless technology, LaunchPort Sleeve Buttons communicate
independently to any Lutron RadioRA 2, HomeWorks QS
or Caséta router, repeater or bridge. Once paired with the
Lutron network device, Sleeve Buttons can control a variety of
Lutron systems. However, functionality does not end there, the
buttons can also talk to Savant, Crestron, Control 4, RTI and
other systems like Roomie and Nest.
Always popular with its innovative approaches, Future
Automation is currently offering its AM accessory mount,
developed to allow screen accessories such as set top boxes,
switches or mini amps to be mounted behind any screen,
utilising the screens own VESA mounting fixings. Designed
to work with any Future Automation Manual or Automated
articulating wall mounts, the AM1 and AM2 accessory mounts
allow installers to fit one large, or two small accessories on
either side of the wall mount. Featuring width and depth
adjustable clamp brackets, the AM1 and AM2 are compatible
with products such as HD Anywhere distribution units, Apple
TV/Fire TV, HDMI Baluns and mini amps.
The SB40 and SB55 Service allow installers to combine
the easy one handed operation of a Future Automation Pull
and Turn bracket, with the super slim on wall profile of a flat
bracket. Designed for easy stud wall mounting, the SB40
and SB55 Service Brackets feature an in-wall stud box, fully
integrated cable management chain, smooth parallel tracking
and up to 50° (screen width dependant). The in wall box also
features cable entry knock outs top and bottom.
Also offering some innovation in this area, Redline
distribution has its IWB series of in-wall boxes which offer
a home and connections for products like Apple TV, room
controllers and sat boxes. The company has also gone a step
further and offers a solution where cutting into walls is not an
option with the CMP-1 which attaches to the rear of the display
using the VESA mounting locations, allowing installers to quickly
and securely add a versatile component location. Built from
powder-coated steel, the CMP-1’s, the perforated construction
allows products to be securely fixed with the company’s UMC-1
universal mounting clamps and CLP-1 Zip tie clips. The product
works with VESA patterns from 50 to 400.
UK distributor, Invision UK, includes the AV Racks brand

Pre-threaded profiles and shelves eliminate the need
for cage nuts and there’s a wide range of accessories.
Innovations include the Cool Racks range, which offers a
selection of rack-cooling systems.
Other brand highlights include the Rollarak family which
comprises of a heavy duty, fully mobile cage for all round
access for rigging during installation and maintenance. The
Classic range is a ‘stylish’ heavy-duty cabinet designed to
give maximum access and quality, with reversible door for left
and right hanging and a full range of accessories.
Invision also has products available from Peerless-AV
including the SmartMount XT series of flat-panel TV mounts
in articulating, tilt and flat styles. The line of pre-assembled,
one-piece mounts that can be affixed to walls by a single
installer, provides post-installation height adjustments on
flat, tilt mount and articulating and improved cable housing
on articulating mounts. SmartMount XT products also carry
Peerless-AV’s signature low-profile design that anchors
displays in certain models as close as 1.2in to the wall.
Articulating mounts come in single-stud or double-stud
wall plate varieties and for heavier televisions, a dual-arm,
double-stud wall plate is available. The articulating models
now include compartments to house cabling and, for mounts
carrying heavier displays, a wall plate knock-out for an in-wall
cabling accessory.
Both the tilt and articulating models carry the One-Touch
tilt feature, enabling correction of viewing angles by +15/-5°
without using tools. Displays on articulating mounts can be
rotated to a landscape or portrait orientation; those on flat
and tilt mounts can be adjusted vertically by up to an inch
and horizontally, up to 13in.
Peerless itself points to a new solution for commercial
installs with its DS-VW795-QR full service quick release
video wall mount. The product supports the latest ‘life-size’,
high impact XL displays up to 98in, with a weight capacity
of 102kg. Equipped with a push release mechanism for
instant servicing and maintenance access, these mounts are
designed in particular for recessed video wall applications.
Vogel’s has launched its latest TV mounting solution, the
SoundMount, a leading edge bracket which incorporates
a sound-bar with wireless subwoofer. Unlike speakers that
remain in a fixed position on the wall, the SoundMount turns
with the TV up to 120° left or right keeping the soundbar
at the right angle to deliver the enhanced audio so many
TVs need. The sound-bar itself delivers 150W and allows
music streaming from a smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth.
SoundMount can support screens from 40 to 65in (max. of
30 kg). The product also comes equipped with an HDMI Arc
input for connecting using a cable and has two HDMI inputs
and one HDMI output. Other connections include S/PDIF
optical input and two mini jacks.
Antiference has been supplying wall mounting solutions
for TVs via the Mountsure range for five years. The range
boasts a variety of options for mounting TV sets from 19in
up to 70in. Popular choices from the family include flat-to-
wall and tilt brackets. The flat-to-wall brackets can allow a
TV to be mounted as close as 9mm from the wall and the
tilt brackets offer a neat solution with a slight downward tilt
required for TVs mounted higher on the wall (UT37 & UT65).
Also in the range are a variety of options for a swing arm
bracket for TVs up to 70in and also included is a bracket
especially designed for mounting a large TV set in the corner
of a room (DAC60). The swing arm brackets offer a twin arm
(UFM37 & UFM65) version and a single arm which can stretch
the TV as far as 615mm from the wall (UFMS37 & UFMS65).
The Mountsure Premier range are lightweight and ultra slim
in design placing a TV as close to the wall as 34mm. The family
also offers a range of counterbalance brackets (CBS & CBD
brackets) with full motion which feature vertical adjustment
allowing the user to adjust the TV position up and down. The
product can be compatible with any TV set as the tension
settings can be adjusted to balance with any TV weight.
Available from RGB Communications, the Middle
Atlantic brand know in the main for its rack solutions
has also introduced a series of AV furniture products in
partnership with maker Turning Leaf. Designed to service
the trend of moving away from always having a central rack
to more localised AV positioning, the products are designed
to offer the same support and protection, but do it in a
stylesuitable for the home or in commercial situations.
The range comes in a variety of sizes and also offers

under-table storage solutions for office environments.
B-Tech’s System X is a range of mounting solutions for
the full spectrum of digital signage. The company says the
mounting system is lightweight yet incredibly strong and has
a high-end aesthetic quality suited to modern, contemporary
commercial applications, but is also at home in domestic use.
The UK-based company has also further improved its
BT8310 pop-out mount, which now has a load capacity
increased from 50kg to 75kg to deal with the most
heavyweight of displays and is a good solution when
mounting in a recess.
Integrating with B-Tech’s System 2 range, the maker says
that projects using System X can be easily specified to create
virtually any mounting system requirement; from the largest of
control room video walls to the longest of menu boards.
Recently, the range was increased even further with the
introduction of an indoor kiosk range.
To compliment the range and the 200,000+ permutations
and configurations, B-Tech has designed its own online
configurator that has been created to make designing any
display mounting project easier. With just a few clicks,
installers can select any screen configuration, in portrait
or landscape format and receive a single part code for the
project, including all necessary ancillaries.
All of B-Tech’s key distributors have the software
embedded onto their own systems to allow their staff to
quickly and easily spec out projects of any size.
Ciaran Flynn, business development for brackets &
mount at Midwich, says: “The System X range has simplified
so many installations that our customers now request it
themselves. Being able to click through the different options
and design a fairly bespoke solution which in turn has its
own part code unique to each solution is a godsend. When
speaking to anyone that has used System X they have
nothing but praise for it and end up ambassadors to B-Tech
by default, which can’t be bad!”
System X from B-Tech is available in either black or silver
finish and the popularity of the design has seen several brands
now using it as OEM mounting for their own products.
Also making an appearance at Essential Install Live!
South, Pure Theatre demonstrated its range of projector lifts
all handmade in Shropshire.
The company says its hidden in-ceiling lift solutions can
accommodate any projector on the market and it can also
bespoke build lifts when special requirements are needed.
A unique lightweight aluminium construction encases the
projector whilst retaining a smooth exterior profile.
tvONE has announced the shipment of its universal rack
mounting solution with power and cooling that’s aimed at
improving rack systems integration called ONErack.
ONErack is a universal, powered mounting system that
is designed to improve rack installation of small devices. The
company says its design converts randomly sized, externally-
powered devices from any manufacturer into slide-in modules
that can be installed quickly and cleanly and then serviced easily.
The products front and rear access provides uniform
cable management, allows high density mounting in three
different chassis sizes and provides seven different voltages
and cooling all within a ONErack chassis.
The ONErack chassis is available in 4RU, 5RU and
6RU and can hold up to 16 modules with up to 2 Voltage
Selectors each. When using the ONErack Power Supply,
each Voltage selector, can provide selectable power @ 5v,
7.5v, 9v, 12v, 13.5, 18v, 24v up to 35W. Each ONErack
Chassis can include one or more 250W Power Supplies that
can feed additional chassis.

SANUS Brackets, Racking, and Support for the installer.

  • 2. Sanus says that every product in its range is designed with installers in mind, whether it is the large selection of TV mounts, including models for curved and extra-large TVs, its accessories mounting system or the flat-packed skeleton racking system. Involving experienced installers in the design process for its mounts helps inform development and in particular the ability to support ever larger screens. Sanus has developed a range specifically designed to mount XL screens with products like the XF228, a full-motion mount capable of safely mounting TVs up to 228cm (90in) in size and weighing 79 kg, while at the same time providing an extension of over 70cm, 150°∘ swivel and 20°∘ tilt. Included in all the maker’s three styles of TV mount, full motion, tilting and fixed, there is a product for extra large screen sizes, such as the LT25 tilting and LL22 fixed mounts. To cater for curved screen fans, Sanus has developed the VLC1 which extends the viewing angle to bring more people into the action. Utilising a development of the company’s Virtual Axis technology, the user can swivel the mount up to 22° in the horizontal to take advantage of curved TV geometry and increase the viewing sweet spot over a wider area, while still keeping the TV mounted very close to the wall. The VLC1 also offers ProSet Plus for post installation height and level adjustment, quick-release tabs for simplified removal from the wall, lateral shift and cable management, all at a competitive price point. To cope with mounting smaller media boxes, such as Apple TV or Roku and Sonos, behind a TV, Sanus has come up with a simple but effective solution to the problem that is compatible with any mount. The Small Parts Panel is a perforated metal plate that affixes to the TV mount or directly to a VESA hole on the rear of the TV. The accessory product is then fixed in place to the Small Parts Panel with tie-down fasteners and an anti-slide material ensures the accessory doesn’t slip from its position. Moving onto the racks range, Sanus offers its Stackable Skeleton Racks designed to deliver installers with maximum height flexibility, from 15U to 40U and minimum stock holding requirements. The CFR1615 (15U) and CFR1620 (20U) are modular and stackable and can be combined to make all height combinations and requirements. The racks feature heavy-gauge welded steel that the manufacturer says are very easy to assemble. Each rack can withstand a load weight of 272kg and the self-aligning structure requires only four bolts for quick stacking. Delivered in a standard size shipping carton, Sanus says they can be assembled in just 15 minutes. As the trend for combining support with attractive furniture grows in popularity, Sanus has the 155cm (61in) wide and 58cm (23in) deep Cadenza 61 which can accommodate large televisions on its glass top surface and all the associated AV equipment within the storage compartments below. Matching wood or perforated steel panels for each of the two doors can be interchanged to customise the appearance and provide ventilation. The pre-assembled Cadenza 61 is fitted with soft close hinges as standard and comes in natural walnut or charcoal wood finishes. The adjustable shelves and built in cable management rails are in 38 | July 2016 Sanus is continuing to add to its ranges of brackets and AV furniture Essential Install | Brackets, Racking and Support Stack’Em, Pack’Em And Rack’Em Supporting AV equipment in the right way not only improves the look of a project, but enhances performance too. Alongside a range of rack shelving solutions, 2U and 3U shelf modules can now incorporate mounting and faceplates specifically designed for Sonos Connect streaming units and Connect:Amp amplified streamers. Up to three Connect units wide can be fitted in a standard width rack mount and alternative faceplates are available for Sky, AppleTV and games consoles. Penn Elcom rack systems can be further enhanced by Alltrade’s custom branded name panels. The fully laser- etched panels can incorporate a company name and logo from as little as £11.35 per panel. Recently seen at Essential Install Live! South, iRoom was showing its latest development to support and enhance the functionality of the iPad. The company already had products with hard buttons to offer control of a series of basic functions without having to wake the iPad, but now has gone further, introducing its own control system and App behind those hard buttons. The culmination of all of this development is ably demonstrated in the new table top iTop which has a handy sliding connector to accommodate an iPad Pro, iPad Air or iPad mini and has with six assignable quick keys control buttons on the glass bezel. Control can also be achieved with hand gestures. iTop includes a PoE+ Injector for convenience and value and a single cat cable powers iTop and gives it control at the same time. In order to customise the Quick Keys, iRoom includes 130 pre-printed icons for all common control functions. Also looking to offer support to the iPad is the Viveroo family of products now available from UK distributor Unicam. Viveroo docks are designed to update as often as the iPad, with the ability to change the connector on the dock. Integrated practically flush to the wall, furniture or any other flat surfaces, iPads can be locked within the dock, or removed for normal use at the push of a button thanks to the soft open function. The LoopDock and SquareDock are currently available in three designs (glass cover in black or white or solid aluminium). Another UK distributor offering an iPad support product with hard buttons as well, Habitech was recently busy introducing installers to the new LaunchPort concept at Essential Install Live! South. By using Lutron’s Clear Connect wireless technology, LaunchPort Sleeve Buttons communicate independently to any Lutron RadioRA 2, HomeWorks QS or Caséta router, repeater or bridge. Once paired with the Lutron network device, Sleeve Buttons can control a variety of Lutron systems. However, functionality does not end there, the buttons can also talk to Savant, Crestron, Control 4, RTI and other systems like Roomie and Nest. Always popular with its innovative approaches, Future Automation is currently offering its AM accessory mount, developed to allow screen accessories such as set top boxes, switches or mini amps to be mounted behind any screen, utilising the screens own VESA mounting fixings. Designed to work with any Future Automation Manual or Automated articulating wall mounts, the AM1 and AM2 accessory mounts allow installers to fit one large, or two small accessories on either side of the wall mount. Featuring width and depth adjustable clamp brackets, the AM1 and AM2 are compatible with products such as HD Anywhere distribution units, Apple TV/Fire TV, HDMI Baluns and mini amps. The SB40 and SB55 Service allow installers to combine the easy one handed operation of a Future Automation Pull and Turn bracket, with the super slim on wall profile of a flat bracket. Designed for easy stud wall mounting, the SB40 and SB55 Service Brackets feature an in-wall stud box, fully integrated cable management chain, smooth parallel tracking and up to 50° (screen width dependant). The in wall box also features cable entry knock outs top and bottom. Also offering some innovation in this area, Redline distribution has its IWB series of in-wall boxes which offer a home and connections for products like Apple TV, room controllers and sat boxes. The company has also gone a step further and offers a solution where cutting into walls is not an option with the CMP-1 which attaches to the rear of the display using the VESA mounting locations, allowing installers to quickly and securely add a versatile component location. Built from powder-coated steel, the CMP-1’s, the perforated construction allows products to be securely fixed with the company’s UMC-1 universal mounting clamps and CLP-1 Zip tie clips. The product works with VESA patterns from 50 to 400. UK distributor, Invision UK, includes the AV Racks brand in its portfolio. • 5. Pre-threaded profiles and shelves eliminate the need for cage nuts and there’s a wide range of accessories. Innovations include the Cool Racks range, which offers a selection of rack-cooling systems. Other brand highlights include the Rollarak family which comprises of a heavy duty, fully mobile cage for all round access for rigging during installation and maintenance. The Classic range is a ‘stylish’ heavy-duty cabinet designed to give maximum access and quality, with reversible door for left and right hanging and a full range of accessories. Invision also has products available from Peerless-AV including the SmartMount XT series of flat-panel TV mounts in articulating, tilt and flat styles. The line of pre-assembled, one-piece mounts that can be affixed to walls by a single installer, provides post-installation height adjustments on flat, tilt mount and articulating and improved cable housing on articulating mounts. SmartMount XT products also carry Peerless-AV’s signature low-profile design that anchors displays in certain models as close as 1.2in to the wall. Articulating mounts come in single-stud or double-stud wall plate varieties and for heavier televisions, a dual-arm, double-stud wall plate is available. The articulating models now include compartments to house cabling and, for mounts carrying heavier displays, a wall plate knock-out for an in-wall cabling accessory. Both the tilt and articulating models carry the One-Touch tilt feature, enabling correction of viewing angles by +15/-5° without using tools. Displays on articulating mounts can be rotated to a landscape or portrait orientation; those on flat and tilt mounts can be adjusted vertically by up to an inch and horizontally, up to 13in. Peerless itself points to a new solution for commercial installs with its DS-VW795-QR full service quick release video wall mount. The product supports the latest ‘life-size’, high impact XL displays up to 98in, with a weight capacity of 102kg. Equipped with a push release mechanism for instant servicing and maintenance access, these mounts are designed in particular for recessed video wall applications. Vogel’s has launched its latest TV mounting solution, the SoundMount, a leading edge bracket which incorporates a sound-bar with wireless subwoofer. Unlike speakers that remain in a fixed position on the wall, the SoundMount turns with the TV up to 120° left or right keeping the soundbar at the right angle to deliver the enhanced audio so many TVs need. The sound-bar itself delivers 150W and allows music streaming from a smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth. SoundMount can support screens from 40 to 65in (max. of 30 kg). The product also comes equipped with an HDMI Arc input for connecting using a cable and has two HDMI inputs and one HDMI output. Other connections include S/PDIF optical input and two mini jacks. Antiference has been supplying wall mounting solutions for TVs via the Mountsure range for five years. The range boasts a variety of options for mounting TV sets from 19in up to 70in. Popular choices from the family include flat-to- wall and tilt brackets. The flat-to-wall brackets can allow a TV to be mounted as close as 9mm from the wall and the tilt brackets offer a neat solution with a slight downward tilt required for TVs mounted higher on the wall (UT37 & UT65). Also in the range are a variety of options for a swing arm bracket for TVs up to 70in and also included is a bracket especially designed for mounting a large TV set in the corner of a room (DAC60). The swing arm brackets offer a twin arm (UFM37 & UFM65) version and a single arm which can stretch the TV as far as 615mm from the wall (UFMS37 & UFMS65). The Mountsure Premier range are lightweight and ultra slim in design placing a TV as close to the wall as 34mm. The family also offers a range of counterbalance brackets (CBS & CBD brackets) with full motion which feature vertical adjustment allowing the user to adjust the TV position up and down. The product can be compatible with any TV set as the tension settings can be adjusted to balance with any TV weight. Available from RGB Communications, the Middle Atlantic brand know in the main for its rack solutions has also introduced a series of AV furniture products in partnership with maker Turning Leaf. Designed to service the trend of moving away from always having a central rack to more localised AV positioning, the products are designed to offer the same support and protection, but do it in a stylesuitable for the home or in commercial situations. The range comes in a variety of sizes and also offers July 2016 | 43 Retail installs receive some help from the DS-VW795-QR quick release video wall mount from Peerless AV Essential Install | Brackets, Racking and Support sanus aVRaCKs The uK installers choice sanus pre-assembled and skeleton racks. • 6. under-table storage solutions for office environments. B-Tech’s System X is a range of mounting solutions for the full spectrum of digital signage. The company says the mounting system is lightweight yet incredibly strong and has a high-end aesthetic quality suited to modern, contemporary commercial applications, but is also at home in domestic use. The UK-based company has also further improved its BT8310 pop-out mount, which now has a load capacity increased from 50kg to 75kg to deal with the most heavyweight of displays and is a good solution when mounting in a recess. Integrating with B-Tech’s System 2 range, the maker says that projects using System X can be easily specified to create virtually any mounting system requirement; from the largest of control room video walls to the longest of menu boards. Recently, the range was increased even further with the introduction of an indoor kiosk range. To compliment the range and the 200,000+ permutations and configurations, B-Tech has designed its own online configurator that has been created to make designing any display mounting project easier. With just a few clicks, installers can select any screen configuration, in portrait or landscape format and receive a single part code for the project, including all necessary ancillaries. All of B-Tech’s key distributors have the software embedded onto their own systems to allow their staff to quickly and easily spec out projects of any size. Ciaran Flynn, business development for brackets & mount at Midwich, says: “The System X range has simplified so many installations that our customers now request it themselves. Being able to click through the different options and design a fairly bespoke solution which in turn has its own part code unique to each solution is a godsend. When speaking to anyone that has used System X they have nothing but praise for it and end up ambassadors to B-Tech by default, which can’t be bad!” System X from B-Tech is available in either black or silver finish and the popularity of the design has seen several brands now using it as OEM mounting for their own products. Also making an appearance at Essential Install Live! South, Pure Theatre demonstrated its range of projector lifts all handmade in Shropshire. The company says its hidden in-ceiling lift solutions can accommodate any projector on the market and it can also bespoke build lifts when special requirements are needed. A unique lightweight aluminium construction encases the projector whilst retaining a smooth exterior profile. tvONE has announced the shipment of its universal rack mounting solution with power and cooling that’s aimed at improving rack systems integration called ONErack. ONErack is a universal, powered mounting system that is designed to improve rack installation of small devices. The company says its design converts randomly sized, externally- powered devices from any manufacturer into slide-in modules that can be installed quickly and cleanly and then serviced easily. The products front and rear access provides uniform cable management, allows high density mounting in three different chassis sizes and provides seven different voltages and cooling all within a ONErack chassis. The ONErack chassis is available in 4RU, 5RU and 6RU and can hold up to 16 modules with up to 2 Voltage Selectors each.
