Session Objectives
• Engage participants in planning and applying PosDi in the teaching-
learning process.
• Develop Work Application Plan (WAP) that shall reflect concepts,
attitude/behavior, and skill learned in the training.; and
• Display willingness to implement the WAP on effectively managing
learner’s behavior and discipline through Positive Discipline.
Activity:
• Direction: Organize yourselves by 5’s.
• You will be provided with a copy of the caselet.
• Read the caselet provided. (3 minutes)
LET’S UNCASE THE CASELET!!
Caselet:
Ms. Elle, the Guidance Counselor, and Ms. Jasmine, the Head of
Values Education Department, are both working in St. Francis
Academy.
The School Director sent them to a 5-day Positive Discipline
Training in the Classroom, that focuses on fostering respectful,
supportive relationships and problem-solving skills, rather than
relying on punishment or rewards. As a result, they were grateful and
excited to return to the school and apply their learnings from the
Positive Discipline Training.
Caselet:
When they returned to school, they were eager to meet
with their School Director to provide feedbacks on the
training. When asked how to apply their training gains, Ms.
Elle and Ms. Jasmine took turns answering verbally to the
questions, which irritated the School Director.

1. What do you think irritated the School Director?
2. What could be the best way that Ms. Elle and Ms. Jasmine
can provide feedback?
3. Aside from verbal feedback, is there anything tangible that
the School Director wants Ms. Elle and Ms. Jasmine to
present?
4. Describe the elements/contents of this tangible thing.
Group Work:
• Each member of the group takes turn to discuss his/her
individual responses.
• Choose from your group one to facilitate the discussion, one
to document, one to present the output in plenary.
• Write your answer on the sheets of manila paper provided.
• Share your answer in plenary. (make sure that everyone has
the chance to share)
