1. Nicolas Demeyer
Hello, my name is Nicolas Demeyer and I’m a junior at BGSU in International
Business Management.
I would like to give you three reasons why you should give me a chance to prove
myself in an interview or another step in the hiring process because I might just be
the person who improves your company.
First of all, I love traveling and have travelled to many places in the world (Russia,
China, France, UK, US, Germany, Spain, Turkey, Egypt, Greece and many more).
This has given me the opportunity to explore many different cultures and experience
different habits. This passion of mine will be able to assist you during any
intercultural meeting, conversation or with international and national customers. I am
also knowledgeable in 5 and a half languages (Dutch, French, Spanish, English and
Bulgarian) I also understand German and started learning Chinese.
Another strength of mine is my dyslexia. Even though this might seem as a
weakness I have successfully completed my bachelor, and to do this I had to work
differently from other people and create new skills and these are Fast reading and
Hyper summarization. With these self-taught skills I have managed to get higher
grades than students who worked 3 times as much as me, but inefficiently.
My last trait is long term relationships, I have known my oldest friend for more than
17 years and I have many friends who I have known for more the 15 years. How
many 20 year old’s can say that? With this skill I’ll be able to assist your company in
building long term bonds.
