Roger Corrado is a former trader and exchange leader with over 25 years of experience trading agricultural commodities, soft commodities, gold, silver, and crude oil. He began his career in 1981 as a 19-year-old clerk on the orange juice futures pit and later founded his own company that had two seats on the exchange. Corrado became a well-known figure in the pits and was elected to leadership positions with the New York Board of Trade, including vice chairman. During his career he has gained experience in communication, marketing, and relationships with exchange leaders. Currently, Corrado continues to trade futures and consult on exchange matters while living in New Jersey with his family.

Roger Corrado is a former trader and exchange leader on ICE Futures Exchange, as well
as the NY Board of Trade. He has over 25 years experience in trading, specializing in
agricultural commodities and soft commodities as well as gold, silver, and crude oil.
Roger also is experienced in trading oil and other metals.
Mr. Corrado stepped into the orange juice futures pit in 1981 as a 19 year old clerk
working for Dean Witter Commodities while attending Pace University at night.
Trading for Dean Witter and Merrill Lynch since 1984 he founded his own company R
Cor Commodities in 1987 which had two seats on the exchange and was involved in a
large percentage of all the trading volume being done on the floor. Mr. Corrado became a
well known fixture in the pits trading orange juice and cotton futures as well as Comex
gold and silver. He also became involved in the leadership of the exchange.
In 1997 he was elected to the Board of Governors of the New York Board of Trade
(NYBOT). After serving on the Board and various committees for five years, he was
elected as vice-chairman of NYBOT in 2002. He was responsible for the political
governance of over 900 members and 250 administrative employees with an additional
1,000 employees on the trading floor. Serving as vice-chairman and also Chairman of the
Executive Committee, Mr. Corrado played a significant role in the NYBOT acquisition
by ICE Futures in January 2007. Mr. Corrado gained invaluable experience in
communication, marketing, public relations and relationships with various exchange
leaders at ICE, CME, LME and former exchanges such as NYMEX and CBOT.
During his years on the exchange, Mr. Corrado became a frequent guest on various news
shows offering his analysis of the various markets and becoming a spokesman for
NYBOT and ICE Futures USA and is still seen frequently on CNBC as well as Fox
Business. Mr. Corrado continues to trade both gold and agricultural futures as well as
consulting on matters related to various exchanges such as the CME and ICE/NYSE as
well as all regulatory rules and agencies such as the CFTC and SEC.
Mr. Corrado was born in Jersey City, NJ and was raised in Hoboken, NJ. He currently
lives in Weehawken, NJ with his wife Michele and three children. He continues to be
involved in the commodity business as well as other ventures.
