- Demographic variables were not correlated with measures of reasons for living, suicide, or depression. The total number of words used in responses also did not correlate with suicide or depression measures. - Response latency, or the time taken to respond, was positively correlated with suicide ideation and self-reported and estimated risks of future suicidal behavior. Response latency predicted suicide ideation severity and risk of future suicidal behavior when controlling for other factors.
