Great Tribulation Review • True church removed from the world before it starts - bride of Christ • Catastrophic events in rapid succession • 7 years, 70th week in Daniel, Two separate and equal period of 3.5 years • Anti-Christ comes to power as the world dictator on the platform of peace, prosperity, plenty • Apostate church destroyed • First 3.5 years – radical changes that seem to benefit mankind • False peace, one world, one government, one religion, one utopia • False prophet in Jerusalem (religious capital of the world) • Anti-Christ establishes a new political & economic capital of the world • 144,000 Israelites sealed by the spirit of God witness to the coming of Christ • Great company of Jews and gentiles saved • Russia and Islamic allies (Syria, Iran, Turkey, Libya,..) move against Israel • God destroys them just like Sodom and Gomorrah (Ezekiel 38)

Great Tribulation Review • In the midst - judgements from God, swift and sudden • Environmental disasters on an unprecedented scale • Rivers run dry, grass, trees, oceans, fish, wildlife impacted • Sun, moon and stars in convulsion • One fourth of the population of the world is destroyed • Then one third of the remaining population destroyed • Still people do not repent, defy God • Anti-Christ breaks his covenant with Israel • Armies prepare to march against Israel (200 million strong) • Babylon is destroyed

Revelation 19 Overview • Marriage supper of the Lamb and return of Christ • Major transition from darkness to light • Halleluiahs open the chapter, opening of hell closes the chapter • Two great suppers – marriage supper of the lamb, cannibalistic feast after Armageddon • From somber to song • Voice of a great multitude • Rev 5&7 – 24 elders (church), angels in chorus, now add those saved in the great tribulation • Verses 1-6: Four halleluiahs • First and only reference to the word ‘halleluiah’ in the NT • Reserved for the final victory • Verses 7-10: Bride of the lamb and the marriage supper • High Priestly Prayer - John 17:22-26 • Marriage supper is the Millennium – what a honeymoon! • Verses 11-16: Return of Christ • Verses 17-18: War of Armageddon • Verses 19-21: Hell is opened

Revelation 19 Overview • Verses 11-12: Jesus returns to rule and reign! • White horse – symbol of warfare • Faithful – come to execute God’s program, all that was predicted • True – He is the truth • Eyes ARE a flame, not AS a flame, Rev 1:14 (judging the churches) • Many diadems – indicate Jesus is the sole ruler, the dictator • Four names: King of Kings (Matthew), Faithful & True (Mark - servant of God), Word of God (John), Son of Man (Luke) • Heaven – time and opportunity to actually come to know Jesus! • Philippians 3:10 – That I might know Him, the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His suffering • Verses 13-16: Garment sprinkled with blood, treaded the winepress. Isaiah 63. • Verses 17-19: End of Armageddon, painful to read, deeds of the flesh • Men who lived by the flesh, will have their flesh destroyed, eaten by the wildlife • Anti-Christ & false prophet - distinction of being the first two thrown into hell • Sword that comes out of the mouth of Jesus? The Word of God!
