Overview of the data, questions, & tools that data analysts &
scientists work with. It is a conceptual introduction to the ideas behind turning data into knowledge as well as a practical introduction to tools like version control, markdown, git, GitHub, R, and RStudio.
Moving Forward: The Real World Application of Big Data, AHIP Institute 2014, ...Leslie Hammersmith
What are real examples of how data is being utilized across stakeholders to improve clinical outcomes, enhance patient outcomes, and turn analytics into actionable information? What needs to happen in order for meaningful collaboration across all sectors of the health care system to take place? This presentation is part of a panel addressing these issues, representing the patient perspective on generating data and participating in research exchange.
