Shane Martin is a scuba technician and former pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies organization. He attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University from 2008-2012 and 2014, studying nursing, but left in 2013 when he was drafted by the Phillies. He has worked as a scuba tech, umpired high school baseball and softball, and done volunteer medical work. Martin was named SWOSU Male Athlete of the Year in 2013 and received several baseball awards while playing for Hutchinson Monarchs and in high school.
