This document summarizes the skills and experience of an Oracle DBA named Bashapattan. It includes over 3.8 years of experience providing 24/7 support for Oracle 10g and 11g databases. Some responsibilities included database creation, configuration of users and privileges, backups using RMAN, performance tuning, and experience with RAC clusters. Previous work experience is provided for two projects supporting Oracle databases with responsibilities such as installation, administration, monitoring, patching, and upgrades.
Overall 12 Years and 9+ of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator, my experience has scaled in providing client support, analysis, designing, development, testing, installation, migration, maintenance and administration for oracle databases, which included understanding the requirements, upgrades, performance tuning, backup & recovery, cloning and space management using ORACLE 11g, 10g, 9i performing the role of Oracle Database Administrator according to the set standards and timelines.

Responsibilities:
• Preparing and adding node in a cluster.
• Startup and shutdown database and instance using SRVCTL commands.
• Applied patches on single node and multiple nodes.
• Configure TAF on all nodes in a cluster.
• Experience in takings manual backup of OCR and VOTINGDISK.
• Migrate from NON RAC to RAC database.
• Troubleshooting of node eviction issues in a cluster.
• Performed physical backups using RMAN and conventional backups.
• Performed logical backup using data pump and traditional EXP/IMP.

• Configuration,Installation, Administration, Monitoring, Performance Tuning, Database
Backup and Recovery.
• Creating, granting and monitoring user access rights and privileges and roles.
• Checking Archive destination, Alert log & trace files to monitor the db on daily basis.
• Created and maintained database entities included Tablespaces, Data Files, Redo Log
Files, Rollback segments and Renaming/relocating of data files on servers.
• Performing Day to Day activities, checking alert logs and scheduled tasks.
• Exporting & Importing data into the databases, using Oracle utilities such as Expdp/
Impdp, SQL*Loader.
• Managing Production, Development and Test Databases in 24x7 environments.
• Handling different Errors of the database especially ORA-00600 errors with the help of
Oracle Support.
• Managing Backup & Recovery of database using RMAN Scripts.
