This report summarizes the findings of a study of faith and ecology courses offered at North American seminaries. It finds that at least 162 relevant courses have been offered at 52 seminaries in recent years. This represents growth in seminaries increasing education about the environmental crisis based on faith teachings. The report also highlights 25 seminaries with notable faith and ecology curricula and lists 55 seminaries offering related courses. It concludes that improving emerging clergy's ecological awareness can inspire communities and interfaith cooperation on environmental issues.
