To Whom It May Concern,
I worked with Sylvia Crockett for approximately five years. I first hired Sylvia in a
Customer Service position at Unisource; when I joined Lafarge as Customer Service
Manager to build a Customer Service Department I approached Sylvia to join my team.
Sylvia reported directly to me in both positions.
If I were able to hand pick a team to work with, Sylvia’s name would be at the top of the
list. She is a very capable, professional and personable person. Sylvia is someone I
could always count on. She is reliable, organized and very bright. At Lafarge the
Customer Service was quite complex, we were created to support the transition of the
financial systems from an Oracle program to EOne. The problems that we had to sort
out typically required a lot of investigation and untangling. Sylvia handled the stress
and challenges incredibly well, her problem solving and decision making skills are
excellent and she is the very definition of a team player. She has a positive, 'can-do'
attitude and her actions back that up. While my experience with Sylvia was primarily
around Customer Service, I would say her skills could be utilized in all kinds of
positions, she is the type of skilled person who will succeed in whatever assignment she
is given.
