Randall Borruso graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering and a 3.618 GPA. His senior design project involved creating a navigation device for the visually impaired using sonic beam forming and wearable actuators. As an undergraduate, he also worked on projects detecting sudden infant death syndrome and measuring muscle flexion. Borruso gained industry experience interning at Medtronic performing product testing and analysis. He has worked as a residential assistant at UConn and a server to fund his education.
