This document provides an overview of the features and functionality of a prototype for a personalized semantic news system. It describes how users can authenticate with a home ambient and TV using QR codes to access personalized news lists organized by genre. Users can scroll through the lists and select news items to view general information, related external links and concepts, and play associated videos on the TV. It also discusses sharing news items and recommendations between users and on social media.
