What is puzzles???
 A puzzle is a game, problem, or toy that tests a
person’s ingenuity or knowledge.
In a puzzle the solver is expected to put pieces
together in a logical way, in order to arrive at the
correct or fun solution of the puzzle.
Puzzles are often created to be a form of
entertainment but they can also arise from serious
mathematical or logic problems.
MATHEMATICS PUZZLE
• Mathematical puzzles make up an integral part
of recreational mathematics. They have
specific rules, but they do not usually involve
competition between two or more players.
• Mathematical puzzles requires mathematics to
solve them.
“ The children who played
with puzzles performed
better than those who did
not, on tasks that assessed
their ability to rotate and
translate shapes”
