Things to keep in mind Most vendors will take image submissions through their web site. What is commercially viable? Does the vendor already have a similar product or image? Will the vendor uphold the integrity of your brand?
Copyright Issues Tend to digitize and publish mostly pre-1923 materials If later material, require permission be obtained from copyright holder or documented “best effort” before allowing use in product or publication Generally avoid manuscripts, personal papers or other unpublished material
