MTech Project Classification of Igneous rocks using SVM
Details: Igneous rock classification using handheld specimens has been practiced regularly. The
manual inspection process can be time consuming and error prone and is significantlydependent
on the experience and knowledge of the observer. Hence for automated classification of Igneous
rock microstructure images into two main types - Volcanic and Plutonic Igneous rock, pattern
classification approach is used. Adaboost-SVM algorithm is used to improve the accuracy level.

2. Major Project Title Laser guided Vehicle
Details: robot has been designed to follow the desired path. Light dependent resistors (LDR)
are used as sensing elements which start to conduct current as the LASER light falls on them.
The actuating signal generated by sensors give instructions to the microcontroller to act
accordingly.
