Teacher Cari introduces herself and provides English homework assignments for the first grade pupils. The assignments include creating a family tree using family terms in English, making a picture dictionary of fruits with images and words, learning numbers one through ten in English, drawing and coloring animals with descriptors, drawing their favorite animal, drawing and coloring school objects with colors, and drawing and labeling their house.

1. Make a ‘Family tree’ (árbol genealógico). Use the words: mum,
dad, sister, brother, granny, granddad.
2. Make a ‘Picture dictionary’ (diccionario de imágenes) about
‘Fruits’: apple, banana, orange, pear, peach.
3. Write and study the ‘Numbers’ in English: one, two, three, four,
five, six, seven eight, nine, ten.
4. Draw and colour ‘Animals’: a black dog, a green snake, a pink pig,
a brown cat, a yellow parrot.
5. What is your favourite animal? Draw and colour.
6. Draw and colour ‘School objects’: a red pencil, a blue book, an
orange bag, a purple pencilcase, a gray rubber.
7. Draw and colour your ‘House’ and write: kitchen, livingroom,
bathroom, bedroom.
