WHAT HAVE YOU
LEARNED FROM YOUR
AUDIENCE FEEDBACK
QUANTITATIVE DATA
Quantitative data is data expressing a certain quantity, amount or range. Usually,
there are measurement units associated with the data, e.g. number of people, in
the case of our research it was numbers and percentages on Survey Monkey that
we have produced as a group. It was in response to our second draft trailer in order
to make the appropriate changes to suit the target audience before release. We
used this data to complete our trailer with appropriate improvements.
THIS IS A BASIC QUESTION TO PROVE THE RELIABILITY
OF OUR FEEDBACK IN TERMS OF IF OUR AUDIENCE
PARTICIPATED
This answer gave us relevant knowledge that
above 50% of the people who answer had a
understanding of noir.
TRAILER FOCUS
This question asked the audience what they believed was most
Important to portray in our trailer, this question was of critical
importance to us because narrative was something we lacked and
was commonly brought up in qualitive research. This was
influential and ended in a complete reshoot to satisfy our audience.
THESE QUESTIONS FURTHER PROVE THAT OUR
NARRATION NEEDED IMPROVING ALONG WITH OTHERS
THAT WERE ON A SIMILAR LEVEL.
CONCLUSIVE IMPROVEMENTS QUESTIONS
Finally, This question identified
the two most important areas for
improvement mentioned by the
audience. This included narration
and acting. These were
fundamental problems because
they could not be improved in
post production. So to concluded
we learnt that we had to improve
and reshoot because of the
audience feedback.
