The rule of thirds was followed in all interviews for the documentary by placing the focal points in the top third section to achieve a professional look according to codes and conventions. Low key lighting from behind and above the interviewee was used in each interview to prevent them from being blacked out.

1. The rule of thirds is a way of describing where to place focal points, the ye line
must reach in the top third section. As this is vital to do whilst filming the
documentary as this falls under the codes and conventions therefore it is apparent
we have done this in all out interviews to achieve that professional look.

2. Low key lighting is used here, as It is coming from behind and above the
interviewee to prevent them being blacked out. We made sure this was clear
in each one of our interviews.
