ACKNOWLEDGMENT
I, Pulkit Jain would like to add few words of appreciation for the
people who have been a part of this project from its inception.
The writing of this project has been one of the significant
academic challenges I have faced but without the support,
patience and guidance of the people involved, this challenge
could not have been overcome. The completion of this project
could not have been possible without the participation and
assistance of many people whose names may not be
enumerated. Their contributions are sincerely appreciated and
gratefully acknowledged. It is to them, I owe my deepest
gratitude.
 Ms. Gurminder , my mentor for this whole project has been
my constant support during this project. Her coordination in
every aspect made me more confident in putting across my
hard work and sincere efforts towards it.
 Mr. Ishan Jha (CEO, UBERHEALTH FOR FAMILIES), my
professional guide and mentor in promoting and give me with
confidence an open hand in proceeding of my project
expansion. Without his guidance, I wouldn’t have achieved the
so called achievements in all aspects.
Thank You.
COMPANY PROFILE
“UberHealth for Families” is a company associated with the
services for Elderly people. This company provides services
dealing with the Health/medical issues of the Elderly people.
 ‘We care for those who care for you.’ This is the slogan of a
company that should extract sighs of relief from NRIs around
the world. Well, just the San Francisco Bay Area for now at
least considering the large number of software engineers there
who have old parents in India.
 UberHealth provides senior citizens preventive health care
packages in Ludhiana and the Delhi NCR region. Ajay Pal
Singh, Co-Founder and CMO of UberHealth, takes immense
pride in the simplicity of UberHealth’s model. “The person has
to just sign up for his parents, choose a service and pay by
credit card. From there onwards we take care of everything,
from booking appointments to picking up your parents from
home to the hospital and bringing them back. The
representative will sit in during the consultations to take notes
and the doctor’s feedback.
That’s an Uber-duper idea!
The Founders, Ishan Jha and Kamal Aggarwal along
with Ajay noticed a rise in the number of young adults
living away from home. In fact, they themselves were in
the same boat while they were working in the US. “The
problem is that children are living away from home
nowadays, and they need to take care of their parents. A
lot of friends used to discuss that they may have to
travel home to tend to their sick parents. It was difficult
to find a good service to ensure that their parents are
taken care of,” explained Ajay. “In fact, when we started
bouncing the idea for UberHealth among people around
where we worked, it was an instant hit. We immediately
got queries from people when they could start using the
service.”
What’s in it for the hospitals?
UberHealth has tied up with major hospitals to ensure top-notch
service quality. No hospital has turned them down yet, which they
are taking as a positive sign.
 The fact is even hospitals stand to benefit with the partnership:
 The preventive health services are going to be provided by the
hospitals, which translates to business being generated for them
by UberHealth.
 It enables them to reach out to a larger section of people.
 There’s a sense of loyalty created in the minds of the users. Any
future treatments for the NRIs or even their parents may be
carried out in that particular hospital chain because they’ve had a
prior experience with it.
 UberHealth offers a real person, Care Buddy, for the elderly who
need assistance of any kind and, for their children, who are living
far away from their parents and need to know about their well
being. Care Buddy was and is still the hero of the services that
we designed for our beloved senior citizens. And the hero needed
a due recognition to the world.
WEEKLY
PROGRESS
REPORTS
WEEK 1
 The First week which started from 20th-23th May was the
week including the orientation programme stating the
basic information and specialization of the company.
 No external work was done as the major focus was to set
up the ground of the company’s profile in this week. Just
the demarcation of how the company works was given.
 My guide and the CEO of the company, Mr. Ishan Jha
stated all the rules and regulations of the company and
made me completely aware about them so that there is a
specific pattern of work to be processed and with the
motive of fully satisfying the target with a smile on their
face. He also introduced me to the Marketing Department
of the company. The overall functioning and the way the
work was to be done was clearly stated by him.
LEARNING OUTCOME -
 I came across the entire team and there way of working
together. Also learnt how the work was to be followed up
maintaining the same decorum
WEEK 2
 The second week which started from 26th- 30th may, the company was into its
promotions as they were to conduct an Event on 5th of June. There were
preparations of the event to be taken care of, about :
 How the event would start !
 what all to be included !
 who all will be a part of it !
 and Above all what basic Target to be achieved from this i.e the Major Outcome
of this event !
 Everyone was given their set of tasks and duties to be taken care of for the
event.
 My major role was Stage Handling with the basis to prepare the script and
create a strong/impressive message that would directly hit the target with a long
term perspective.
Besides this, my learning there Marketing tactics was initiated by Sir Ishan and
team. I had to create and maintain a long term data base so as to keep healthy
records and look for company tie-ups to bring out the best of UBERHEALTH FOR
FAMILIES (now CareBuddy).
LEARNING OUTCOME
 The whole week was involved in the preparations of the event and side by side
the learning of their basic marketing environment.
 The process and strategies consisting the preparations helped me to manage
and get a overall view of handling the events.
 WEEK 3
 Again this week from 1st – 5th June, included the event preparations on a
high level. Starting from the ground work of deciding the venue to fixing it
was done. What all and how the shows to be performed, along with deciding
the Chief Guest and ending up with good refreshments were decided.

5th June – THE EVENT DAY
 The event was basically for senior citizens who are in a help of their child-like
care and concern, and how Uberhealth will provide them the utmost same
care and love required.
 The event was conducted in Greater Kailash part II in Arya Samaj Mandir at
10 am. It was all about presenting Uberhealth promotions to its main target
the SENIOR CITIZENS. A good amount of both young and senior people
turned up and the event started with a great pace. There was a special talk
by Dr. G.K Jadhav working in Apollo Hospital initiating the daily problems he
comes across and also solving the queries put up by the audience. The
event was further lead by a play from a famous theatre society
KHANABADOSH conveying the same message. After the play, was the
Ultimate Brief of our company that was given by Sir Ishan explaining what
exactly Uberhealth is and what all it does. This play gave a major turning
point to the promotions of the company as a good amount of people
approached us and went back happy and satisfied.
 Thus, the mission of the company of bringing smiles along with satisfaction
was accomplished.
WEEK 4
 This fourth week which started from 8th -12th of June, basically consisted of the
main ground work that is the desk job of preparing a set data base.
 The company demanded promotions so a proper and a timely record was to be set
up.
 In this week 4 meetings were fixed up and the results came out to be both
negative (as expected) in the start and a bit positive response was approached by
the end of the week.
 This week also included another event by the company that was to be set up with
an already ongoing event that is RAAHGIRI on Every Sunday in Gurgaon.
 14th JUNE – RAAHGIRI EVENT :
 Gurgaon organizes a weekly event called as RAAHGIRI DAY every Sunday
morning. The event is an adaption of Ciclovia, an event originally developed
in Bogota, Columbia in 1976 where a segment of roads are closed for motor
vehicles and are opened to people for walking, jogging, running, cycling, skating,
and other leisure activities. This concept is adopted by several cities across the
world. Launched in November 2013, Gurgaon became the first city in India to hold
this event, followed by New Delhi. The current police commissioner of
Gurgaon, Navdeep Singh Virk has also shown his support for Raahgiri.
 According to the rules and regulations of the event, we weren’t allowed to have
any promotional kit such as stalls and canopies with ourselves. It was all to be
done in open without any specific place allotted to us. So we decided to choose
the place that had the maximum available crowd. The event started it off with the
same play as presented earlier by the members of KHANABADOSH society of
theatres. But the target audience here was different as compared to the previous
one. It was Youth this time. A message for them on the harmful effects of Drugs
which can make them lose even their parents was conveyed.
 After the play, was the main purpose of our event that was, to explain what exactly
Uberhealth does for them and their parents which was again led by Sir Ishan. This
somewhat clicked the audience as after the event, there were people approaching
us and talking to this regarding what exactly was done by the company.
WEEK 5
 The last week that is, 22nd – 26th June was the final week of my tenure in this
internship.
 As this week also included the meetings and set ups. But along with an another
event was also lined up. This event was scheduled for the 26th June that is, the
ANTI-DRUGS DAY. So, the rest of the week went away in the preparations of this
event too.
 26th JUNE ANTI- DRUGS DAY :
 June 26 is the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.
Established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1987, this day serves as a
reminder of the goals agreed to by Member States of creating an international
society free of drug abuse.
 The event on this day was scheduled for 7am at India Gate. This event included a
marathon in which our team players participated too with their Uberhealth T-shirts
on so as to not miss even a single chance of not highlighting in bright/positive
outlook and promoting it. This came out to be a very good strategy that worked out
for our team as after the marathon we could see the curiosity in people wanting to
know more about us. To which we conveyed them to wait for our event to start so
that better understanding of the message was put across.
 We, me and the other team members found ourselves a place to settle and pick up
a specific place for our placements.
 As the event started, it took off by the play performed by the KHANABADOSH
theatre group yet again but with WE being a part of the play this time. As the play
was scripted according to the main event that is, ANTI-DRUGS DAY it was wholly
based upon the Effects of Drugs that are highly consumed by people nowadays.
 This play concluded with Us highlighting and giving an insight to what Uberhealth
does.
 After the play, Sir Ishan explained and presented the whole idea behind this
concept of bringing up such a long time satisfying service industry in the market.
 This event ended up with lots of photographs, hardwork, experiences and a lot of
memories as technically this was my last event with the company.
THANK YOU
