Luther is a fast paced crime drama based on a highly skilled yet troubled
English police detective played by actor(Iris Elba). Since parting from his
wife, he’s drawn into the unrelenting approach and clasp on serial killings
and the world of crime. Luther is a brilliant detective but torn between
the Law of his career and his emotions. His tactics at stretching the law
are for the benefit of the victims and others but this is often found as a
high risk, threat and a serious concern to his superiors. Luther is
surrounded by his past issues and this is what concerns his colleagues
most. It is a very thrilling edgy mystery with high levels of psychology and
action that makes it extremely captivating.

The language used in Luther is standard English but some of the
words used is police codes and words. This is to make it very
effective like real life British police force. The psychological terms
and techniques used make viewers relate and understand easier.
Luther cam on BBC 1 from 9:00pm until 10:00pm every Tuesday
