Jeff Montalvo (born 31
March 1987), known
professionally as Seven
Lions, is an American
record producer, remixer,
instrumentalist and DJ from
Santa Barbara,
California.The name Seven
Lions comes from a fantasy
book called Latro In The
Mist by Gene Wolfe. Seven
Lions is a character in the
book.
Montalvo’s interest in music production began at the age of 7 when his father came
home with a Macintosh and keyboard.[3] He grew up as a metal and punk-inclined
drummer, but he eventually segued into electronic music production. Montalvo
explains, “For me, it was the most accessible thing, to start picking up something like
drums as opposed to something like electronic music. My transition out of playing with
a band was because I got tired of waiting for my band all the time - I wanted to just
start making music so I started composing electronic music by myself.”[4] He took the

was created by Luke Hood,
who began sharing bass music
through his original
two YouTube Channels, UKF
Drum & Bass and UKF Dubstep
in 2009. On 28 June 2012, UKF
celebrated one billion YouTube
views since its creation.[1] The
UKF brand now has five
YouTube Channels: UKF Music,
UKF Dubstep, UKF Drum &
Bass, UKF Mixes, and UKF Live.
UKF has expanded beyond its
YouTube Channels to creating
compilation series and
podcasts, organizing events,
offering merchandise as well
as its own ticketing platform.
Luke Hood created UKF on
YouTube to share music with
friends while studying
at Frome Community
College in 2009.[2]As his
subscriber base began to
grow, he started to focus on
the music channels and
expanding the UKF brand.
UKF never paid for
advertising, relying on its
subscribers to share the
music through various social
media sites. The brand has
since sold half of its
ownership to AEI Media and
plans to take advantage of
YouTube's live streaming
function to broadcast their
events that now occur
throughout Europe and
North America.[3] As of
December 2012, Luke Hood
is still the managing director
at UKF
Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike are
a Belgian DJ duo composed of
two brothers Dimitri Thivaios
(Dimitri Vegas) and Michael
Thivaios (Like Mike). They
currently hold the 38th spot
in the top100 DJs in the world
according to DJ Magazine[1]
Dimitri Vegas began to make
his first steps as a DJ at the
age of 14. In his early years he
made several appearances in
small clubs and was the
resident BeatFM radio DJ. He
left Belgium in 1999 and
began touring Europe. He
lived in Mallorca and then in
Halkidiki,Greece before
moving to Ibiza in 2003,
where he was resident in
major clubs such as Privilege
and Space
After living in Mallorca and
the Canary Islands, they
settled in Zante, Greece where
he was a resident of Amnesia
and The End in 2006. In
autumn 2006, he returned to
Belgium to work with his
brother, Like Mike, and
produced their first release
Cocaine / Eivissa 2007. His
remix of "Work That Body",
2008 caught the attention of
DJ Axwell, who entrusted
them with a remix of
"Rotterdam City of Love" by
Abel Ramos for his label
Axtone. In 2009, Dimitri &
Mike helped Swedish House
Mafia on the song "Leave the
World Behind"
Armin van Buuren was born in Leiden, Netherlands, on 25 December 1976,[1] but grew
up in Koudekerk aan den Rijn. Van Buuren started making music when he was 14.[5] He
was inspired by French electronic music composer Jean Michel Jarre.[5][6] He graduated
from the Stedelijk Gymnasium Leiden in 1995, and studied law at Leiden University. He
began working as a DJ in Club Next, playing multiple sets a week, most of which lasted
six or more hours.[7] As his musical career began to take off he put his law degree on
hold, although he returned to graduate from law school in 2003.
On 18 September 2009, van Buuren married Erika van Thiel, with whom he had been
together for nine years.[8][9] Their daughter Fenna was born in July 2011, and their son
Remy in July 2013.[10]
In 2011, van Buuren was appointed Officer of the Order of Orange Nassau for his
services to music. Van Buuren announced that just hours before he was due to
headline the main stage at Tomorrowland (Saturday, 27 July 2013) that his wife had
given birth to a son
