The 2011 film In Time directed by Andrew Niccol stars Alex Pettyfer, Cillian Murphy, Olivia Wilde, Amanda Seyfried and Justin Timberlake. In the dystopian future depicted in the film, time has become the currency where people must work to earn more time to live and the poor literally live day to day with not enough time on their genetic clocks. The film follows a man who is given more than a century of time and must evade those trying to recapture the stolen time while he explores a society divided by time.
