Dr. Thant Zin Tun worked as the medical officer aboard the tender barge Smedvig T8 from April 1998 to the present. He performed his duties conscientiously and professionally. As a medical doctor in Yangon as well, he was able to help the surgeons at the local hospital. He was praised for his work translating safety meetings and maintaining safety statistics. His supervisor recommended him as an asset for any similar future operations.
