Pranab Mukherjee served as the 13th President of India from 2012 to 2017. He was a veteran congressman who held several important roles such as Minister of Finance, Defence, and External Affairs. Mukherjee earned degrees in political science, history, and law from the University of Calcutta and worked as a journalist before entering politics. Nanaji Deshmukh emphasized education as a social worker. He established the first Saraswati Shishu Mandir school in 1950 and was involved with the RSS and Bharatiya Jana Sangh political party. Deshmukh participated in the Emergency movement and was elected to the Lok Sabha and nominated to the Rajya Sabha
