To sort data in Excel: 1. Select the rows and/or columns to be sorted. 2. Go to the Data tab and click Sort. 3. Click the arrow next to Sort to access sort options - click A to Z to sort alphabetically or Z to A to sort in reverse alphabetical order.

2. select the rows and/or columns you want to be sorted.
Navigate to menu tab 'Data' along the top and click 'Sort.'
Click on the small arrow to the left of the Sort icon. If the "A" is on top of the
"Z," click that "A to Z" button once. That will sort your list alphabetically from
"A" to "Z." If you want to sort your list in reverse alphabetical order, click on the
button that has the "Z" on top and the "A" on the bottom.
Click on the small arrow to the left of the Sort icon. If the "Z" is on top of the
"A," click that "Z to A". However, when the "Z" is on top of the "A," your list
will be sorted in reverse alphabetical order.
