1. Performance Task 1.1
• Each group will prepare beneficial and useful mixtures such as
drinks, food, herbal medicine and household cleaning product.
• Bring the materials and create the product at school
on September 3, 2024. Each group will create 1 Heterogeneous
and 1 Homogeneous Mixture.

2. • Each team will be given 10-15 minutes to prepare.
-After preparation, each team will present their products in front of the class.
Each team will be given 3-5 minutes to explain how they created their mixtures
and identify their own mixtures.
• Rubrics: Presentation = 10 points
• Team Collaboration = 10 points
• Mastery of Topic = 10 points
• Total = 30 points

3. What to prepare?
1 Homogenous Mixture
1 Heterogenous Mixture
Each group will prepare beneficial and useful
mixtures such as drinks, food, herbal medicine
and household cleaning product.

4. What to do?
Each team will be given 10-15 minutes to prepare.
-After preparation, each team will present their
products in front of the class.
Each team will be given 3-5 minutes to explain how
they created their mixtures and identify their own
mixtures.

5. • Each team will create a miniature version of the volcano assigned to
them. Presentation will be on Feb 12 (Monday)
• Materials to be used:
• Recycled Materials (Scratch papers etc)
• ¼ size of Illustration board
• Paint

6. • Presentation: The team will collect data about the volcano assigned to
them, specifically the following:
• Name of Volcano
• Location
• Type of Volcano (Cinder, Shield, Composite, Strato)
• A brief history about the volcano
• Number of Eruptions
