1. Effective Homeopathic Healing of Patient with Allergic Constitution

Summary:
Food allergy is a common inherited immunologic disorder. No curative treatment exists in Conventional Medicine for affected pa-
tients. Thus the only effective solution to the problem is avoidance. Patients are suggested to avoid all food items that overexcite
their immune system to activate various immune factors such as mast cells. However homeopathic remedies have shown effective
healing of such patients.
A single man aged 32, suffering from food allergy for about 25 years, was visited by the author. All his family members suffered
from similar symptoms. Generalized urticaria and itching were the first symptoms he had experienced when he was a first grader at
primary school. After being seen by a general physician, oral antihistaminic agents were prescribed. The symptoms alleviated by oral
antihistamines and ampoules but he developed allergic rhinitis to all the food items except fish and pineapple.
When the patient entered high school hypothyroidism and general convulsions and depression emerged for which he was treated he
took thyroxin, Valproate of Valproate of sodium and Fluoxetine.
Thus the food allergy changed to a complicated and risky condition because of ignoring and suppressing valuable symptoms.
After thorough case taking and repertorizing the main rubrics, proper remedies were prescribed for him; Natrium-Muraticum, Lyc and
Sulphur.
The patient's symptoms improved prominently and after about two years he changed totally to a healthier and more energetic person.
His allergic symptoms bothered him about 40% less and it was the same with the duration of them.
While in conventional medicine the only effective way to manage food allergy is to avoid the food items that trigger one's allergic re-
actions, homeopathic remedies may cure such patients, deeply by balancing one’s untuned immune system. According to research arti-
cles published in various medical journals homeopathy has been shown effective in curing patients with various allergic conditions.
Principles of Allergy in Conventional Medicine

An allergy is a reaction by our immune system to something that does not bother most other people. People who have al-
lergies often are sensitive to more than one thing. Substances that often cause reactions are as follows:
- Pollen
- Dust mites
- Mold spores
- Pet dander
Those who suffer allergies from pet dander will most likely experience eye allergy symptoms when exposed to cat
or dog hair.

Normally, one’s immune system fights germs. It is the body's defense system. In most allergic reactions, however, it is responding to a false alarm.

Allergies symptoms
Allergies can cause a variety of symptoms such as a runny nose, sneezing, itching, rashes, swelling, or asthma. Allergies can range from minor to
severe. Anaphylaxis is a severe reaction that can be life-threatening.

Doctors use skin and blood tests to diagnose allergies. Treatments include medicines, allergy shots, and avoiding the substances that cause the
reactions.
When I was an intern at one of the training hospitals, a patient was referred to the emergency ward of Internal Medicine. He was an alone man, aged
about 40, who had taken fish as his dinner. He was very anxious and asthmatic. I myself ran to the pharmacy of the hospital to prepare an ampoule of
Adrenaline. He got relieved after the medicine was injected for him.
Food Allergy:
Food allergy is an abnormal response to a food triggered by your body's immune system.
In adults, the foods that most often trigger allergic reactions include fish, shellfish, peanuts, and tree nuts, such as walnuts.
Main problem foods items for children can include eggs, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, wheat, shellfish and fish. However the case in my article suffered
from allergy to fish and several fruits that will be mentioned soon.

You can only prevent the symptoms of food allergy by avoiding the food, according to Conventional Medicine. After you and your health
care provider have identified the foods to which you are sensitive, you must remove them from your diet.
Analysis of Patient with Food Allergies
A young single man, Mr.A.H. aged 32 was referred to me on Sep. 23rd
2010. He said he had two main problems, the first one was difficult
concentration and little patience for reading certain educative books. He had low self-confidence. He was mind-reserved and lazy in finaliz-
ing his scheduled plans. He wished to be the chief of his company. He was creative and encouraged others to change their lives. For example
he had registered for driving licence, 8 months ago and acted after such a long period of time. He had nightmares and talked during sleep. He
also suffered from a headache for which CT scanning and MRI were done, without any abnormal findings.
His second main problem was allergic reactions to several food items. He used to suffer from allergy to the following food items, ever
since he was a child at primary school:
Common Symptoms of Food Allergies:
One’s health care provider may use a detailed history, elimination diet, and skin and blood tests to diagnose a food allergy.
When one has food allergies, he/she must be prepared to treat an accidental exposure. Wear a medical alert bracelet or necklace, and
carry an auto-injector device containing epinephrine (adrenaline).
He said of similar condition in his family. Thus the genetic factor of his allergic constitution was certain. Urticaria was the first allergic reac-
tion he experienced when he was a child.

Apparently the reason was not noticed by the conventional doctor and antihistamines were prescribed for him to manage the symptom. Urti-
caria was suppressed and deeper layers were involved. Hay fever, petite mal depression and sinusitis were the main consequents of this sup-
pressive treatment. He still used to take antihistamines such as hydroxyzine, anti-depressive of Fluoxetine and Phenobarbital, before taking
homeopathic remedies. Nat-m. 30 CH was selected as his first prescription. A single dose was taken by him under our eyes at our clinic in
Tehran.
Follow-up sessions:
The patient was seen again after 30 days. He felt better, calmer and more energetic. The remedy was repeated with higher dose and potency
by shaking the 30 CH remedy.
On Jul.29th
2011 he was seen and said “My allergy has become very well. I can even take melon and grapes, now. I had some severe skin
itching that improved with ½ of Hydroxyzine tab daily.” For his laziness and itching Sulph. 30 CH 40 drops was prescribed at the clinic. He
took it under our eyes. A single dose of Lyc. 30 CH was prescribed for his father according to the case taking. It was very effective for his
father’s anger.
On Aug.13th
2011, The patient was seen again. He said “My will has become better and I feel more energetic.” His beard showed better
growth and he could decide better and easier.
On Oct.21th 2011, the patient was seen. “My will has become stronger, I feel more powerful for my daily activities, though I like to become
better.” He said.
On Feb.19th
2012, the patient was seen and the Radar rubrics were reviewed as follows:
1- MIND - SADNESS - afternoon: He said: “I do not take Fluoxetine anymore and I feel happy.”
2- GENERALS-WARM- agg: “I am better now”, the patient said.
3- VERTIGO - ACCOMPANIED by - Head - pain in head: He said: “I haven’t had it for a long time.”
4- GENERALS-INFLAMMATION-sinuses; of: “I have taken a dose of vaccine at the beginning of cold season and I have a bit of
sputum and discharge , now.”
5- NOSE-HAY FEVER: “It has stopped.” Mr. A.H. said.
6-NOSE SNEEZING: “I don’t have it.” He said.
7- EXTERNAL THROAT - SWELLING - Thyroid gland: Clinical examination, ultrasonography and blood tests show normal thy-
roid condition.
8- MIND – LAZINESS: “It has become a bit better; I had headache due to insomnia before, but it doesn’t bother me now.”
9- BACK - WEAKNESS - Cervical region: He said: “I still have it but it has improved.”
10-SLEEP – SLEEPINESS- daytime: “It is better now”, the patient added.
11- HEAD - PAIN - bathing – after: He said: “I don’t have it anymore.”
12- SKIN - ITCHING - scratching - amel.: “It has started bothering me for a while.” He added.
MIND-CONFIDENCE-want of self-confidence: Mr. A.H. said he felt more confident.
Thus 12 symptoms showed relative to complete improvement. Such prominent changes, after about 17 months is remarkable. The
last time I asked him about his 2nd
main problem, i.e. his food allergy, was on June 19th
2014. He said: “The intensity and duration of
allergic symptoms has improved by 40%.” He believes that all Iranians should better get homeopathic remedies to have a better life.
Conclusions: While in conventional medicine the only effective way to manage food allergy is to avoid the food items that trigger
one's allergic reactions, homeopathic remedies may cure such patients, deeply by balancing one’s untuned immune system. Accord-
ing to research articles published in various medical journals homeopathy has been shown effective in curing patients with various
allergic conditions. Randomized clinical trials are suggested to be done by the LMHI in the member countries to assess the efficacy
of classical homeopathy in patients with food allergy, to introduce homeopathy as a safe and efficient method of healing affected pa-
tients.
