Ponta Delgada is the largest city and administrative capital of the Autonomous Region of the Azores, Portugal. It is located on the island of São Miguel, in an area known as the Sete Cidades massif. The city has a population of approximately 65,000 people and serves as the commercial, cultural and political center of the Azores archipelago.
