I look in the mirror and find what I see disgusting…
A headache so big my head almost combusting…
I think to myself how have I been blessed…
My mom’s upset because I have her stressed…
I go to my room and stand next to my bed…
Then drop to my knees and bow my head…

A simple question “ Who Am I?”
All want to do is do good in school…
Because I’ve learned from my pastor that being smart is cool…
I had my life planned when I was about nine…
To where when scholarships came to in the mail I’d be ready to

I was chasing the ball carrier and wasn't letting anything get in my way…
On to the second half now their team was scared of our speed…
I made the biggest mistake that would have gotten us the lead…
Half back pass is what the coach was going to call…
All I knew was that I was getting the ball…
I spit on my gloves and strapped them tight…
The defender was gonna put up a really good fight…
Looking for receivers until the sideline squealed…

The ball was launched all eyes on me…
I knew when I caught it it would be a TD...
The ball hit my hands then it went down…
The second I dropped it I went straight to the ground…
Even embarrassed we still got the win…
But I guarantee that drop will never happen again.
