This document provides information about various animals, including their young and habitats. It lists common pets and their offspring (e.g. 1 adult German Shepherd and 2 puppies). It also covers ocean, desert, tundra creatures and their young. Finally, it shares some curiosities, such as wolves hunting in packs, raccoons' stealth, mosquitoes needing blood to lay eggs, frogfish camouflage and swallowing whole, camels living in deserts due to food sources, octopuses using beaks to eat clams, and cheetahs being the fastest land animal.
Solar D is a sunscreen produced and marketed by Nexdius Pty. Ltd., an Australian company. It is designed to selectively allow some sunlight through to enable vitamin D production while still providing sun protection. The patents for Solar D's technology are pending approval in several countries including the US, Australia, Brazil and the EU. As of 2016, Solar D will be formulated and produced in the US for markets in North and South America, Europe and the Middle East. It has been successfully launched and distributed in major retailers in Australia and New Zealand.
This document describes a collaborative project between students from the Indian Institute of Technology in Hyderabad and the University of Texas at Austin, along with Broadcom India Technologies, to develop an Ethernet packet analyzer with remote access capabilities. The analyzer will capture packets from an Ethernet port using a Raspberry Pi, analyze the data, and output it to an SD card or remotely. The document provides background on packet sniffers and analyzers, Ethernet protocols, and the development approach taken so far using Linux and importing software onto the Raspberry Pi.

Barilla, a pasta manufacturer, wants to reduce inventory levels and lead times through a Just-In-Time Delivery (JITD) system with distributors and salespeople. However, distributors want inventory control and independence from Barilla, while salespeople fear reduced responsibilities and bonuses. To address these objectives, the proposal involves piloting JITD with willing distributors to demonstrate benefits. It also proposes making distributors joint owners of sales data or having Barilla representatives monitor inventory. For salespeople, the proposal restructures incentives and redesigns jobs to emphasize inventory reductions and data collection. Barilla would take a long-term partnership approach and help distributors achieve their strategic objectives to build trust.

How International Is Our School? MA DissertationStephen Taylor
This dissertation describes the development and pilot testing of tools to evaluate the international-mindedness and global engagement (IMaGE) of schools. The author conducted a literature review to define IMaGE and identify 8 factors ("radials") that influence it. Rubrics were created to measure each radial. The tools were pilot tested via case study at the author's international school in Japan. 10 faculty volunteers used the rubrics to assess the school's IMaGE, generating a "web chart." Results provided preliminary feedback on the school's IMaGE and identified areas for improvement. While limitations restrict reliability, the web chart showed potential as an evaluation tool if further developed and tested with larger samples. The study aimed to advance understanding of
