  10. This is a booklet which is published every few years by ABTA and FTO (abta.uk.com) and deals with the steps to follow regarding the health of tourists in their holiday destinations. It can be said that it is the guide used by almost all Tour Operators worldwide. We are able to provide a link for you to be able to download a copy if required (please request via GB).

We have a team dedicated to the management and handling of claims, supported by experts in enviromental health and accidents, who can deal with all aspects of the handling of the hotel claim Their main areas of work are : Creation, supervision and administration of documents generated for the prevention programme (policies, records, procedures, external audits..) Management and handling of the claim from the opening of the file following the first official communication of the claim, through all the stages and developments (including the technical defense reports) until the closure of the case which can, in some cases, take from 3 to 5 years

It has been developed by the FTO in collaboration with different associations and federations of travel agencies and tour operators in Europe and North America Why TraveLife? Unlike other eco-labels or certificates, Travel Life is designed exclusively for the tourist industry and is supported by the Tour Operators , who publish and promote on their websites and in their brochures hotels which are registered in the system. These hotels benefit from the commercial advantages whilst making savings due to effective sustainable management How does it work? 1º.- Register + self audit + manuals (free) www.its4travel.com 2º.- Suscription (250€ - 750€) dependent on size of hotel and location. 3º.- Adaptation of criteria and solutions of the self assessment, manuals ; use external specialized companies , e.g pk services group 4º.- Certification: company accredited by TraveLife, e.g pk services group.

A food allergy is a reaction of the immune system associated with the ingestion, contact or inhalation of certain foods such as eggs, seafood, dried fruits,food containing gluten, etc. Food allergies are a public health issue and a worry both for the consumer and for food based businesses. Work plan? Your staff will be trained in how to carry out their jobs effectively whilst preventing any culinary contamination via allergenic agents.
