My aim is to encourage people to get involved in rugby league, In this documentary I aim to be a social participant as well as the interviewer during the filming od my piece, I want to promote rugby league as a sport everyone should and can get involved in and play competitively. throughout my documentary i will be working with the two clubs specifically to focus on there ever growing links between them. Salford Red Devils and Cadishead Rhinos respectively, will be interviewing both parties and trying to get information from them about grass roots level sport and what they feel both clubs can give one another.
My target audience for this piece is the rugby community there is no specific age or gender I am trying to appeal to this is because throughout the project I will be reiterating that it is a community sport, I feel I will be able to reach my target audience by keeping it simple and keeping it open to everyone I will not be trying to over complicate things by using to many technical words as so not to confuse newcomers to the sport. This is how I feel I can encourage more people to become participants.
Production techniques – I will be producing this film as though it were a piece like it was an advert / documentary I will be shooting plenty of up close action but also splitting this with time where I can sit down with individuals, in rugby related locations and talk to them about hwere they feel the game is going and what they feel can be improved upon.
My inspiration for this shoot is purely the love of the game
My inspiration for this shoot is through playing myself and also now understanding the need for new participants. some of the pictures on my slide are pictures of where I play and also people I know personally
