Given Sharmon's fondness for all things techie, he was naturally drawn to the communications field
and began his career installing phone lines and computer networks. While doing that, he learned all
about fiber optic cabling and subsequently transitioned to designing and installing high tech
complex fiber optic security systems. He has moved away from that because after a while, it became
rote and no longer provided the challenges he craved. Currently, he is fixing computers and working
with companies on developing their social media marketing strategies. Most importantly, he has
returned to the classroom so that he can learn how to speak and write the language that is the basis
of all modern technology.
