As a project assistant at Childfund-the Gambia, she distributed donated shoes to vulnerable children and conducted monitoring visits. She also provided teacher training on monitoring tools and accompanied students from De Montfort University UK on a visit to Sandele as part of a global development program, which included cultural site visits and staying with Gambian families. Additionally, she worked as a radio presenter on youth matters, mentored girls at a secondary school, and assisted with a food canteen program for women and girls.
