You probably knew before you even got engaged exactly what you want for your wedding; the venue, the decorations, the food, your guests, your overall theme, is already planned out. You have a vision. You see yourself in a white gown, your friends and loved ones there helping you celebrate your marriage in the perfect venue, your fiancée, and your bridesmaids. But, one of the most difficult things in a bride- to-be’s list is her bridesmaids. Of course you know whom you are going to ask to be your bridesmaids, but the question is how do you ask your bridesmaids? Were you thinking of calling or sending her a text? Think again! Here are 10 perfect ways to ask your bridesmaids. 1. Keep it short and sweet! Make her a simple Bridesmaid card. You may feel obligated to go big, but this budget friendly DIY will make your bridesmaids-to-be appreciate the time you put in to make their cards. 2. “Propose” to her Scrabble tiles are no longer only for playing scrabble. “Propose” to your girl with a scrabble ring. It is an easy and a fun project to do for your bridesmaids. All you need are scrabble tile pieces, a hot glue gun, and soft gauge wire. 3. Bake her something Nothing shows her how much you appreciate her like homemade goodies. You can bake her anything from cookies, to brownies, cupcakes; even better, you can customize them and add her picture to your homemade goodies. Not only will she appreciate your baking skills, but she will also appreciate the extra touch you added. 4. Give her a fortune cookie Fortune cookies are always fun to read. Whether they really do predict your future or not, they will certainly tell her where she’ll be on that special day of yours. 5. Make her a mixed media canvas You do not have to be an artist to create a mixed media canvas for your girls anyone can do it. All you need is a canvas, her picture, a “will you be my bridesmaid?” message, and pretty much anything you can find in the craft store. Let your imagination guide you. 6. Write her a poem Anyone can appreciate poetry, especially if you wrote it from the heart. Start off by mentioning what is so great about her, include any memorable moment, or even tell her how special she is to you. In the end pop the question “Will you be my bridesmaid?” This method might bring some tears, so have the tissue ready.

Treat your girls to dinner You probably have had many girls nights right? I though so. Your bridesmaids to be will not suspect a thing during a night out to dinner. Give her a “Bridesmaid Survival Kit” You will have to include all the necessary tools to help her get her through the big day. Some essentials include, tissues for tears of course, gum, perfume, lotion, accessories, a Starbucks gift card (she might need the extra energy). 10. Send your girls on a scavenger hunt For those that are on the adventurous side, send the girls on a scavenger hunt. There is nothing more engaging and fun than getting your girls together and sending them on a scavenger hunt to find the hidden message.
