PSYCHOLOGICAL
EXPERIMENT ON
PERCEPTION
Presented By – Shashikala Patel

INTRODUCTION
• Perception is the process by
which individuals interpret
and organize sensory
information to give
meaning to their
environment.
This experiment explores
how people see and
understand things in unique
ways. It helps us understand
why individuals interpret
things differently.
EXPERIMENT OVERVIEW
Objective:To explore how perception varies among individuals when presented
with ambiguous stimuli.
Methodology: Participants will be shown a series of ambiguous images and asked
to describe what they perceive.
Hypothesis:We predict that participants will interpret the stimuli differently
based on their individual experiences, cognitive biases, and cultural backgrounds.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR
PARTICIPANTS
• You will be shown a series of
images.
• You must observe and make
note of the first observations.
• Then, the same picture will
be shown at different angles,
and you have to make notes
on the second observation.

DISCUSSION
Analysis of factors influencing perception, such as:
• Individual differences.
• Cultural influences.
• Cognitive biases.
Implications for understanding human perception in everyday life.
RESULTS
• Presentation of findings, including:
• Dominant interpretations of each
ambiguous image.
• Variability in interpretations among
participants.
• Changes in perception over time.
CONCLUSION
Recap of key findings and
insights gained from the
experiment.
Importance of understanding
perception in psychology
and its applications in
various fields.
