Best time to visit
The best time to come is in May, early June, September, or October when the weather is still
bright and pleasant. These months are often about 20–23°C (68–73°F). Try to avoid sweating
and being heated outdoors in the summer months.
The peak season for tourism in the summer when the weather is hot and dry. The weather
will be ideal, resulting in huge numbers, although wait times for popular attractions will be
lengthier. In the summer, plan ahead of time to arrange your accommodations and activities.

every other block. 64 bus routes make it easy to go about in Paris' metro system. Four tram
routes in Paris encircle the city. They use the same ticketing system as the metro, RER, and
bus. Taxi service is available but is a little pricey.
Another alternative is RER Train. RER is an above-ground train that connects Paris with
Ile-de-France. It functions just like the metro, and you may use the same tickets to ride it
whether you're going north or south (unlike the metro). Traveling with connected metro lines
uses the same ticket. Velib is Paris' public bike-sharing service. If you bike for less than 30
minutes on a trip, you won't be charged beyond the membership cost.
