- Cage Properties – This screen is activated either by buying a new cage or selecting an existing cage and pressing a button to go to this screen. Selling a previously owned animal will lose the animal and give you money, while retraining an animal for release into the wild
- Choose Animal Screen: Accessible from Cage Properties -> Animal Selected. If no animals are present in the cage, this screen is accessible.
- Concession stands earn the player more money. This screen lists the different concession buildings the player can make. Each concession stand can serve a limited capacity of guests, which means the player needs to build more as the zoo attendance grows.
- Service buildings help maintain the zoo’s reputation by adding critical services such as bathrooms, information stands, and benches. Each service building can serve a limited capacity of guests, which means the player needs to build more as the zoo attendance grows.
- Décor items are built on zoo to raise the reputation ratings of existing buildings by making them prettier. Décor buildings have no inherent value itself and just add a % improvement to existing buildings with reputation scores. Décor items have no upkeep cost.
- Employees are roving critters in-game that actually do stuff. They can care for animals in zoo cages, act as a roving concessionaire, or provide entertainment to zoo guests. Employees manually walk through the park to perform their function, which means that it can serve only one function at a time. Additional employees need to be hired to cover a greater area of the zoo.
- Financials screen gives you access to an end-of-day report and ability to set the prices of concession stands and ticket entry.
- Setting prices allows you to set the price of ticket entry to the zoo and the different concession stands. Higher tickets mean greater revenue, your zoo’s overall Reputation rating determines how much people are willing to pay. Lower costs to increase the attendance of the zoo.
