This document provides instructions for building a paper puppet in 3 sentences: Build the head box by gluing tabs A-C and inserting ear tabs D into slots. Construct the body by gluing tab E and folding up the feet, then insert tabs F into the bottom of the head. Finish by inserting the arms into body slots, putting the hat in the head's slot, and adding a string tail.

Print this template on matte photo paper
or card stock for best results.
For nice clean folds, score dashed fold
lines by very lightly running a razor
blade along a straight edge.
Cut out all parts. Be sure to cut arm, ear,
hat and body slits.
Build box for head by gluing tabs A–C
with a thin layer of white glue and insert
ear tabs D into slots on side of head.
Build body shape by gluing tab E and
fold feet up.
Insert tabs F into bottom of head and
insert arms into slots in the sides of body.
Insert hat into slot on top of head.
Use a piece of black string to make a tail.
