 You are a researcher. You need to complete a research report on a
 particular aspects of Peking/Beijing Opera and how that aspect
 might influence you as a performer.

 Word length – Research - 500 – 1000 words
               Impact – 200 words

    1. Writing up the Research
    • This research part is a report. It is not a personal opinion.
    • Quotes/pictures must be used. This is your research – it is included
       in the word count. You must use your ATL skills - follow report writing
       format; use in text citation;
    • Always remember to think about
       Impact – Write how you think your research might influence you as a
       performer.

    2. Report format
    • You need to have a title page – Name, class, Research topic and word
       count.
    • Introduction; body; conclusion
    • In text citation
    • Bibliography/Work Cited -

    3. Include a Bibliography/Work cited that you have used – correctly
       cited
       It should consider having -
           a. 1 books
           b. 2 internet sites
           Optional for level 7-8
           c. 2 others- more websites, books, magazines, journals, DVDs and
              Youtube

               theatrical research in relation to the culture
              Demonstrates an excellent knowledge and understanding
               of the elements, which make up Peking/Beijing Opera.
              Is able to communicate a well-developed critical
               understanding of Peking/Beijing Opera and how it would
               apply to them as a performer.

              Shows a good knowledge and understanding of their
               theatrical research in relation to the culture
              Demonstrates a good knowledge and understanding of the
