10. Reasons the Church Offers
Electronic Giving:
• Convenient and automated
• Much-needed financial consistency for
the church.
Anyone wanting to change to electronic giving
please speak to Polly in the bookkeeping office.
11. The OSLC Sewing Bee is asking for your
Help.
After spending an amount of $525.00 on diapers to make
layettes for Lutheran World Relief Baby Kits.
They are hoping for monetary donations to defer some of this
cost.
Any amount would be greatly appreciated.
Just indicate on an pew envelope, your name and that it is for Sewing Bee.
Either place it in an offering tray or give it directly to the church office.
12. Lunch Ministry
Would you like to be a part of an exciting,
rewarding ministry?
August would be a great time to give it a try. We are looking for
all sorts of volunteers to cook and serve a hot meal to those in
need every Friday during the month of August. If you are interest
please sign-up on the sheet located on the coffee bar in the
Commons or contact Kelly Erdmann at 362-0716 or at
oslcmincoor@gmail.com
We still have room for a few more volunteers

Caring Ministry
is in need of
volunteers
Help an OSLC “Shut In” stay connected to the
church family by volunteering to bring
communion to their home once a month at your
convenience.

Baby Care Kits:
Each kit requires
•2 lightweight t-shirts (not onesies)
•2 long or short sleeved gowns/sleepers (without feet)
•2 receiving blankets
•2 pairs socks/booties
•1 jacket / sweater / sweatshirt with a hood (or a baby
cap)
•1 hand towel (dark color preferred)
•2 bath size bars of gentle soap
•2 diaper or large safety pins
Any donations for this are welcome

23. If you are hospitalized or know someone from church who is
hospitalized and would like a visit, please call the church
office. Because of privacy laws, we don’t always hear when
members of our church are hospitalized.
